Desiree Leigh is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in medical and procedural dermatology. She is passionate about making a difference in her patients’ lives by easing the burden of their health concerns and empowering them to understand and actively participate in their care. She looks forward to continuing this mission while applying and expanding her skills in allergy, asthma, and immunology.

Prior to working in outpatient dermatology, Desiree served as a nurse at the Orlando VA Medical Center, where she cared for veterans across a variety of acute care settings. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and holds a post-graduate certificate from Florida Atlantic University.

Outside of work, Desiree enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her corgi, Kirby, and visiting local theme parks. She is grateful for the opportunity to join the team and looks forward to working with everyone.
